Hi friends,

It’s a glorious day outside (11° C right now), and I’m one of the last ones left at the office, so I decided to give the Internet an update about what’s been happening at OAHQ over the last little while.

We missed PodCamp Toronto which we were pretty bummed about, but it parlayed into a really weird yet really productive weekend and resulted in the first volume of El Tenedor, the Official Awesome zine. Whose idea was it to have that that thing at like 9am on a Saturday morning, anyway? The zines are limited run (that basically means whenever we feel like running a few copies) and we’ve been dropping them around town. Hit us up if you find one.

The Battlestar/Lost TV Blogs. Right. We decided that Lost was more fun to think about than to write about and we figure the plethora of Lost blogs and wikis would probably do the thoroughness that a show like Lost requires much better than we could. The Battlestar blog will be back as a special feature after the series finishes this weekend. More on that then.

We had a great time at Canadian Music Week. Apparently, it ended on Saturday, but no one told us, so we kept partying until some time early Monday morning. It seems like we spent a lot of time walking between Sneaky Dee’s and The Silver Dollar. Highlights included The Mark Inside, Give Us The Daggers and Bend Sinister.

Stats indicate that we have quite a bit of regular readership which is always surprising since most of it is either word-of-mouth or the occasional weird Google search (looking at you, “we’ll pee anywhere”) so we’ve been planning a party. Partly as an official launch, partly as a thanks for reading, and partly because parties are kind of awesome. We’ll keep you posted as the details get finalized over the next couple of weeks.

We’ve added a twitter feed to the main page and you can find us individually at @OfficialTyler and @elvedin.

So yeah, that’s what we’ve been doing. Hope you’re all doing well and enjoying the temperate weather.
